The meaning of Christmas

Last night, the ladies in our church had a Christmas dessert. The organizers asked that Matthew memorize the Linus version of what Christmas is about and recite it. Angel did such a great job with him preparing him for it and he did a great job on it.

Brad gets a vocal lesson with Tim Carson

How awesome is this? Our very own Brad Huie was chosen at random to get a vocal lesson from Tim Carson of http://www.vocalartistry.com/. Brad sang Here I Am To Worship and to help Brad learn how lessen the tension in his throat while singing. I couldn't get a great picture, but this is Brad singing while holding his nose...it was great.

Worship with Paul Baloche

We just got back from lunch. We came immediately to a worship set with Paul Baloche. It was absolutely amazing. We learned a new song from Paul's new album called "Our God Saves." Definitely a song for the church...and I can totally see our church signing this song in praise to God.

Christian Musician Summit - It's Finally Here

I’ve been anticipating this for the past few months. Today we are starting the Christian Musician Summit at Overlake Church in Redmond, Wa. I’m extremely excited about this weekend and what it will mean in the live of our church. We have more than 10 folks from our various ministries coming to a weekend packed with training and workshops intended to improve skill and inspire talent.
